Dimapur, July 29 (MExN): The daily COVID-19 positivity rate in Nagaland was at 4.58% with 67 out of 1,464 samples testing positive on Thursday.
According to the daily bulletin from the State Health and Family Welfare department, the new cases were detected from Dimapur (25), Kohima (14), Mokokchung (10), Tuensang (5), Phek (5), Mon (4), Wokha (3), and Longleng (1).
With the detection of the new cases, the total caseload increased to 27,653.
The State also reported 113 recoveries, taking the total recovery to 25,023.
Meanwhile, 4 more deaths were reported in the last 24 hours from Dimapur (1) and Mokokchung (3).
The COVID death toll in the State as on July 29 was 542, as per the bulletin.
At present, there are 1,299 active COVID-19 cases in Nagaland, out of which 102 are admitted in the COVID hospitals and 1,143 under home isolation.
