27 recover in Dimapur on Saturday; State's total recoveries at 76

Dimapur recorded 27 recoveries from COVID-19 in a single day on June 13 taking the number of total recovered cases in the state to 76, an official said. 

 

This is the highest single-day recovery of cases so far in the state. With this, Dimapur alone has recorded 63 cases of recoveries till the time of filing this report.

 


Informing this, incharge of Dimapur for COVID-19 activities, Y Kikheto Sema, IAS said that the recovery rate of COVID-19 patients in Dimapur stood at nearly 45%.

 

 

“Currently, there are 76 patientsat COVID-19 Hospital Dimapur in addition to four patients at Assam Rifles Camp, Shokhuvi,” he said.

 


Attributing the high rate of recovery cases to the frontline workers particularly to the medical team of Dimapur, Kikheto also expressed hope to see more recoveries in the days to come and a Corona free state gradually.

 

He urged all returnees at quarantine centres not to panic and maintain discipline by following instructions issued by the authorities.  He also lauded all believers for ceaselessly praying for the state.

 

The state total positive cases stood at 163 as of 10:08 am of June 13. 

 


However, with 76 ‘recoveries' so far, there are  87 active cases in Nagaland.
