Kohima, October 2 (MExN): The culmination programme of Seva Pakhwada (Forthnight of service) and free medical camp took place at Chiechama village in Kohima district on October 1.
It was organised by Nagaland BJP along with Kohima District BJP officials and 11th Northern Angami- II BJP Mandal leaders.
Altogether, 110 patients from the village were benefited with free medical check-up and medicine.
Medical team of CHC Chiephobozou, Dr Kekhrieniezo, MO; Dr Akatoli, MO; Dr Asezo, MO; Kelin, OPT Astt; Lhourelie, MA; and Vineisanou, Nurse Ayah, provided their services during the free health check-up camp at Chiechama village.
The culmination programme of Seva Pakhwada (from September 17 to October 1) was conducted at Chiechama Panchayat Hall.
The formal programme was chaired by Kohima District president Khrielie Usou; Viyielhou, Executive member BJP, 11 Northern Angami II A/C invoked God’s blessings while vote of thanks was proposed by Neitseizolie Metha, general secretary 11th Northern Angami II.
Chiechama village chairman Mhalezolie Metha also delivered short speech.
BJP state secretary & Kohima District Incharge Lanuakum O Tzudir talked on “Humanity.”
The concluding remarks on the Statewide Seva Pakhwada were given by Kevidezo Peter Rutsa, state vice president and convenor of ‘Free Health Check-Up Camp’committee under Seva Pakhwada.
It may be mentioned that the Free Health Check-Up Camp was organised and monitored by the committee, and successfully conducted in almost all the 16 administrative districts of the state, with hundreds of patients being provided free health check up and medicines, according to BJP Nagaland media cell.
Meanwhile, the "Free Health Check-Up Camp" committee, Seva Pakhwada, thanked all the concerned Districts and Mandals for their active participation and the success of Seva Pakhwada in Nagaland.
Free health check up camp at Phenwhenyu
Under the banner of Seva Pakhwada to commemorate the birthday celebration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 12 A/C Tseminyu Mandal, with the assistance of Medical Camp Committee, BJP Nagaland conducted a free health check up camp at Phenwhenyu Village Panchayat Hall, Tseminyu on September 30.
Dr Vijoho, Medical Officer, CHC Tseminyu, assisted by Abei-ü Shuya, Staff Nurse, NCD CHC Tseminyu, Meshenya, ANM, & Alfred, Pharmasist conducted the camp which was attended to about 50 patients for various medical consultations.
Free routine medicines, diabetic & hypertensive medicines were also provided to the patients by the Medical Officer and staff. This was stated by Nini Cheng, State Co-Chief Spokesperson, BJP Nagaland.
