The Naga FC in a press release informed that a total of Rs 58,500 has been set aside as cash prize for the winners. The champions will take home Rs.30,000 while the runner-up will get Rs.20,000. The two losing semi-finalist will be awarded Rs.5000 each. The Best Player will be awarded Rs.1500 while the Best Goalkeeper and highest goal scorer will be awarded Rs.1000 each. For more details, contact 8794245644/9615375536. 1st Quasar Open TT Tournament Our Correspondent Kohima | April 28 The 1st Quasar Open Table Tennis Tournament organised by the Quasar Club Kohima in collaboration with Kohima District Table Tennis Association (KDTTA) kicked off today at T.T. Stadium, Kohima under the theme “Education through sports.” 36 participants from different schools (both boys and girls) from Kohima district are taking part in the tournament which will conclude on April 29. The final in team events for girls will be played between Model Higher Secondary School and Mezhiir Higher Secondary School while the boy’s category will be between Model Higher Secondary School and G. Rio Higher School. The closing ceremony will begin at 3:00 pm with John Makhabo, District Youth Coordinator (Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan) as the chief guest.
