Open Penalty Shoot-out Tournament Kohima, May 7 (MExN): The Prodigies Group under the aegis of Khedi Baptist Church Kohima is all set to organize the 3rd Open Penalty Shoot-Out Tournament under the motto “ Innovating a stronger fellowship” on May 13 at D. Khel (Seikhazou) Ground, Kohima Village. Registration forms are available at various outlets for Rs. 100 (Forms) and entry fee of Rs. 2000. The complaint will need to be appended with a fee of Rs. 1000.   Suncity Club meets teams Kohima, May 7 (MExN): In commemoration of the upcoming 9th Open Basketball Tournament (OBT), Suncity Club Kohima held a team briefing with the confirmed and interested teams at Suncity Office, Kohima Village on Sunday. Altogether 12 teams participated in the team briefing, where the meeting was chaired by the President of Suncity Club, Neilavonyü Rutsa and the technical briefing was done by Medohu Rutsa, Director, Technical Board. The breaking down of terms and condition laid down by the organizing team was done by Co-convener of the tournament Medozhatuo Rutsa, a press release informed. Forms are available at Suncity Club Office, P. Khel Kohima Village and the last date for the submission of the entry forms will be May 15. The fixture of the tournament will be drawn at Khuochiezie Local ground on May 20 at 1:00 pm. To create a platform for the young talents of the State, the NBA and the Suncity Club, cordially invites all artistes involved in B-boying, beat boxing, BMX stunts, singers and dancers to contact the Director of Entertainment Board @ 09856380426/08860054186. The organizing Committee has also informed basketball fans that there will be food courts during the tournament with a nominal fee being charge for the food stalls which will be informed in a later press release.   Oorja Talent Hunt: Young Girls, SAI-STC claim third Our Correspondent Kohima | May 7 The ongoing “Oorja - Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) Under-19 Football Talent Hunt Tournament” saw 22 goals being scored in the two playoff matches for third-place here on Sunday as Young Girls Club, IG Academy and SAI-STC, Dimapur bagged third place in girls and boys category respectively. Young Girls Club, IG Academy claimed the third position after a thumping 10-0 win over Christ King Hr Sec School 10-0. Arhoni and Imlimerenla scored four goals each while Tsutsoli grabbed a brace. In the boy’s category, SAI-STC, Dimapur overwhelmed Christ King Higher Secondary School 12-0. Temsunungsang scored four goals while Viki M Awomi, Neikedozo Tsira, Mutunu Therie, Monton Konyak, Heichihang, Totoka and Huvesu Tetseo each scored one apiece. Meanwhile, Sweet Poison Club, IG Academy will face Girls Sports Hostel, Dimapur in the girl’s final on May 8 at 8:00 am at Kohima Local Ground. In boy’s final, State Boys Hostel Nagaland will clash with State Sports Academy, Nagaland at 2:00 pm at Kohima Local Ground.
