Kohima, November 18 (MExN): The Nagaland Super League (NSL) Governing Body has issued a statement addressing the circulation of unauthorized and misleading information regarding the league’s franchises, operational guidelines, and player recruitment details.
In a press release, the NSL clarified that it has not released any official statement or details about the franchises, eligibility criteria, or operational framework. The body emphasized that the only document issued thus far is an internal application document provided exclusively to organizations registered with an interest in participating in the league.
The NSL expressed concern that the dissemination of unverified information undermines its efforts to establish a transparent and professional league. It urged media outlets, social media users, and the public to refrain from sharing speculative or false details, stating that all official announcements would be made solely through authorized NSL channels.
“The Governing Body remains committed to ensuring the successful launch of the Nagaland Super League in a professional and transparent manner,” the statement read, calling for the cooperation of all stakeholders to uphold the integrity of the initiative.
The NSL reiterated its appeal for caution and encouraged adherence to verified updates to support the league’s development.
