Teachers Day 2022 was celebrated at GMS Pungro village with VCC, SMC, and student leaders. Choreography, dance, jokes, drama etc marked the day followed by refreshment.

KV Dimapur celebrated Teacher’s Day under the guidance of MH Shimray and teaching faculty members and class 12 students. The programme started in the morning assembly by offering the flowers to the portrait of Dr Radhakrishnan. A seminar was conducted on ‘Importance of education in human life.’

Mokokchung College of Teacher Education (MCTE) celebrated Teachers’ Day. Speaking on behalf of the student-teachers,. Zhulika thanked the teachers for the magic that they bring into students’ life. Kerilhusa, Assistant Professor, MCTE, in his exhortation spoke of teaching as a profession that requires one to adapt to changing times and one that pushes you out of the comfort zone

Students of MGM College, Dimapur organised Teachers’ Day programme which commenced with ceremonial lighting of the lamp. MGM College, Principal, Rev Fr Dr PS Varghese delivered the welcome speech followed by felicitation of the special guest, Rev Fr Giju George, vice-president, MGM College and other highlights of the ecent.  

Modern Institute of Teacher Education (MITE) celebrated Teachers’ Day organized by Student-Teachers and Management. Dr Kate Dandesh Kumar, Principal, MITE and Changsonla, Student-Teacher delivered short speeches. Songs and other presentations were highlights of the celebration. 

Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School (PVHSS), Dimapur observed Teachers' Day at the school auditorium. The programme began with offering of floral tribute to the portrait of Dr S Radhakrishnan. The programme was graced and chaired by PVHSS Principal, Monoj Bhattacharjee. Various cultural programmes were performed by students.
