Dimapur, June 5 (MExN): Nagaland is gearing up for the 12th Senior National Pencak Silat Championship 2024 with a strong contingent of 24 members representing the State.
The championship will be held at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology University in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, from June 11-13.
Comprising boys and girls, the Nagaland team is fully prepared to showcase their skills in individual sparring across various weight categories and in eight artistic events, as per a press release from Deep Kumar, General Secretary & Head Coach, Nagaland Pencak Silat Association (NPSA).
NPSA President Khevishe Sema and Head Coach Kumar, along with Senior Referee Kuhoshe Chishi, will lead the state team for the championship.
