Kohima, January 13 (MExN): The Department of Youth Resources & Sports has informed that Team Nagaland participated in the National Youth Festival 2025, organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, from January 10 to 12 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
A contingent of 31 participants and 3 officials represented Nagaland, taking part in various competitive events that highlighted their talent, creativity, and leadership. The team participated in: Group Folk Song, Group Folk Dance, Painting, Declamation, Science Mela, Viksil Bharat Young leaders Dialogue, stated a DIPR report.
The team demonstrated the vibrant cultural heritage of Nagaland through the group folk song and folk dance performances, while the painting, declamation and science mela contests allowed participants to display their creativity and intellect. The Viksit Bharat Young Leader? Dialogue provided a valuable platform for young leaders to share their visions for a progressive India.
The Department commended the participants for their hard work and dedication, which brought pride and recognition to the State. Such events not only celebrate the diversity and talent of India's youth but also foster unity, innovation, and leadership among participants.
