
DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 25 (MExN): The Nagaland Kung Fu Sports Association (NKFSA) will host the “2nd All India Kung Fu Federation Cup 2023” cum “National All Martial Arts & Title Belt Open Championship” in Dimapur from October 31 to November 2.
A press release issued by NKFSA said the event will be a remarkable exchange of all martial arts and skills between the youngsters of our state and the players from the states across India, which will ignite the young talents, whose dreams are to excel in the field of martial arts sports.
This event also will be a confidence building moment for the greater various national & international events to be hosted by Nagaland in the days to come, as the championship will be witnessed by the players, delegates, officials & several national media/social media from the states all over India.
Besides the event, the NKSA said it plans to encourage & support local entrepreneurs by opening food & beverages, handicraft & souvenirs, paintings & artifact, Made in Nagaland, Naga weaponries/music stalls/kiosks etc during the 3 days long events.
The NKSA, meanwhile, reiterated its objective that the discipline, education & excellence of martial arts will serve as an effective ‘rehabilitation’ of young ones from the deadly addictions of mobile screens, social media, junk food and to become a vibrant, healthy and a strong generation to face the hostile challenges of the present times which is of vital importance for the state.
