Wokha, June 14 (MExN): SDO (Civil) and ARO, Wokha town has informed that Form 13 will be issued for all voters who are drafted for election duty under Wokha and Bhandari Town Councils.
The documents will be issued from the office of the respective Returning Officer (RO) during office hours on all working days. Submission of filled forms and voting on the spot (upon verification) will be conducted starting from June 21 at the chamber of respective ROs. The last date for submission is 10:00 AM, June 24.
Therefore voters are required to produce during submission, his/her Service ID card or Government ID card (for drivers) and Election Duty Order/requisition order, a report from DPRO & IA, Wokha stated.
Scrutiny of nomination papers conducted peacefully at Wokha
Scrutiny to the Wokha Town Council (WTC) for the ULB election 2024 was held at the office chamber of the ADC& Returning Officer, Wokha on June 13.
The scrutiny for the 15 wards was conducted in the presence of the Election Observer for Wokha Town Council & Additional Secretary, Hiazu Meru, and SDO (C), Wokha, Tsidi. After scrutinizing the nomination papers, the ADC&RO, Wokha, K. Furhesie Nyuwi announced that all the nomination papers are found to be valid.
