Nagaland: Upcoming 13th Assembly session to discuss Naga Political Issue

Kohima, July 26 (MExN): The Eight session of the Thirteenth Nagaland Legislative Assembly, which commences on August 3 will conduct ‘discussion on matters of urgent public importance - Naga Political Issue’, introduction of Government bill, and resolution among others on day one. 

A DIPR report stated that the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) in its meeting held under the chairmanship of Speaker, NLA, Sharingain Longkumer at the Assembly Committee Room on July 23 have finalised the provisional programme for the Eighth Session of the 13th Assembly. The Committee has discussed the business to be transacted during the 8th Session to be held from August 3 to 5. 

During the session, the following Business would be taken up: obituary references; questions; laying of report; presentation of assembly committee reports; introduction of government bill; consideration and passing of government bill; discussion on matters of urgent public importance; introduction and adoption of government resolution, if any; announcement of the revised composition of the various financial and non- financial committees; unfinished business, if any; adjournment of the session sine- die.
