Rupreo Youth Organisation celebrates golden jubilee

The Rupreo Youth Organisation (RYO) of Chiechama village celebrated its golden jubilee with Mhalezolie Metha, chairman, Chiechama Village Council as the guest of honour on JANuary 27.

Speaking on the occasion, Metha stressed on the need to revive and strengthen the bond of relationship with the neighbouring villages.

He called upon the people to uphold peace treaty and friendship.

He also challenged the RYO to rededicate themselves towards a progressive society.

Further, Metha called upon the citizens to exercise honesty and integrity for posterity.

RYO’s first president Yaselie Rupreo highlighted the background of RYO’s formation.

Delie Metha, president Chiechama Village Youth Organisation (CVYO) and Neizolie Rupreo, president Rupreo Chienuo shared greetings.

The programme was chaired by Thepfukhrietuo Rupreo while special song was presented by Silievi Rupreo and Kereiu Rupreo.

Neichalie Rupreo, pastor, Northern Angami Prayer Centre Nerhema and Kevilezo Rupreo, Asst Pastor CRC AG Road, Kohima prayed for the celebration.
