Kohima, November 5 (MExN): Nagaland’s Hemavi Ayemi won gold at the 3rd MBAI India National Muaythai & Muay Boran Championship cum 2nd India National Pro-Am Muaythai Title Belt Championship, 2017 held at SAI-STC, NEHU complex, Shillong, Meghalaya from November 2 to 5.
Ayemi downed Kartnataka's Darshan B.S in the below 65kg final. Enroute the gold winning feat, he beat Delhi's Sanil in the quarters and Ashem Tondonba Singh from Manipur in the semis.
The Nagaland Muay-Thai team was represented by a combined All Contact-Combat Arts Academy, Nagaland and Combat Academy, Dimapur.
