Nagaland wins gold at All India Vayu Sainik Camp-22

Three cadets of Eastern Christian College, Dimapur at the All India Vayu Sainik Camp-22 in Jodhpur from September 25 to October 5.

Dimapur, October 12 (MExN): Three cadets of Eastern Christian College, Dimapur took part in the All India Vayu Sainik Camp-22 in Jodhpur from September 25 to October 5.

Out of 38 cadets of the North East Region contingent, 12 cadets were from the Nagaland. The three cadets of ECC were CSUO Joshua P Tsuqu, CUO L Esther Khumao and CWO Mongying M Konyak. The cadets of ECC performed exceedingly well and CSUO Joshua P Tsuqu and CUO L Esther Khumao were part of the drill team who took Gold medal in the event, stated a press release from Media Cell, Eastern Christian College. 

The competitions included drill (with and without weapon), .22 rifle firing, skeet shooting,  tent and line area, test on flying related subjects and health and hygiene thereby, putting into check the overall training activities of Air Wing NCC. 

The All India Vayu Sainik Camp is the epitome of competitions for all Air Wing NCC cadets of India and cadets from altogether 17 Directorates of the Country takes part  in the event. The cadets are tested in various fields related to the Air Force pattern of Syllabus in NCC.
