Nagaland wrestlers win 23 medals at National Championship

Kohima, November 25 (MExN): The Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) team won 23 medals in total at the 8th National Traditional Wrestling and Pankration Championship held in Telangana from November 21 to 24.
The NWA team won 7 Gold, 5 Silver and 1 Bronze medals in Belt wrestling discipline and 4 Gold, 3 Silver and 3 Bronze medals under Mas Wrestling discipline, informed a press release from NWA General Secretary, Vekhozo.
The Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) while felicitating all its medalists expressed gratitude to the Department of Youth Resources & Sports and the State Government for their support. The association congratulated all the medal winners and urged them to work harder to achieve greater heights. The NWA also expressed its gratefulness to all wrestling fans for their continued support and prayers.
The team is expected to reach Dimapur by 28 November morning.
