Kohima, November 20 (MExN): A one-day ‘Referee Clinic’ for the registered members of the Nagaland Wrestling Referee Board (NWRB) was held today at the Indira Gandhi Stadium Multipurpose Hall-A, Kohima.
Held under the aegis of the Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA), the clinic aimed to upgrade the refereeing system and its technical aspects, which will be implemented in the forthcoming NWA championships.
The championships include the 17th International Hornbill Naga Wrestling Championship, scheduled to be held at Khuochiezhie, Kohima, on December 4.
A total of 18 NWRB members, along with NWA officials, attended the day-long clinic, informed a press communiqué from the association.
