DIMAPUR, JULY 9 (MExN): The 2nd edition of the Nagaland XCC Cross Country Mountain Bike Race was successfully organised by the Nagaland Mountain Biking Association (NMBA). A total of 25 cyclists participated in the 20 km race which was flagged off from BSNL Office by Bolto Pusa, Advisor of the Association and culminated at Science College Ground, Jotsoma.
The title sponsor of the event was Hornbill TV, cycling club partner - Gear Thrills Cycling Club and bike shop partner - Linkage Kohima.
A press release from the association informed that it has been seeking for affiliation from the Nagaland Olympics Association which would enable for further affiliation with the Cycling Federation of India. This would qualify Nagaland to train and send riders from the state to participate in the National Events and beyond.
