Dimapur, October 3 (MExN): The employees engaged for implementing the Prime Minister's Overarching Scheme for Holistic Nutrition or the Poshan Abhiyaan in Nagaland on Monday informed that it has withdrawn the boycott of all Poshan Abhiyaan activities and would now continue all activities.
Informing this in a press release on Monday, the employees also stated that have decided to retract a representation that was submitted to the Nagaland Chief Secretary on September 14.
“The information may be rectified as the funds have not been released from the Central Govt. And not from the Department of Social Welfare, as previously assumed,” it added.
It may be mentioned that the District Coordinators of 11 districts had submitted the representation to the Chief Secretary, stating that they had not received their salaries for almost eight months and that the concerned authorities, despite being apprised of the situation on several occasions, had turned a deaf ear.
