Dimapur, August 16 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan, IAS released the Nagamese version of COVID-19 SOP on COVID-19 Containment and Management issued by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Government of India, for Peri-urban, Rural and Tribal Areas at DC’s conference hall, Dimapur on August 16.
The function was attended by officials and staff of DRDA Dimapur led by Project Director, Kethosituo Sekhose, NCS and Officials of District Administration along with the ADC Dimapur, stated a DIPR report.
The DC in his speech remarked that providing copies of the SOP in a local dialect may seem small but it will go a long way in educating the masses, particularly in the rural areas. He extended his appreciation to the DRDA Dimapur for this innovative and life-changing work.
Project Director, Kethosituo in his welcome address stated that this SOP has been tuned by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj which was originally issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. In the same function, the DRDA Dimapur also gave Oxygen Concentrator, PPE suits and N95 masks to the DTF Dimapur to strengthen the hands of DTF Dimapur in the fight against COVID-19.
