IMPHAL, February 5 (NNN): The ‘tripartite talks’ involving the United Naga Council (UNC), the government of Manipur and the Central government representatives will be held on February 12 on the ‘Alternative Arrangement’. Sources informed NNN that the government has intimated this information to the UNC leaders today. The sources added that the venue of the talk is at Senapati district headquarters. Meanwhile, the UNC is yet to comment on the development officially. “We will minutely discuss and comment on it officially on Wednesday,” said UNC President L Adani when contacted. The UNC had set February 17 as the dateline for the government to respond on the resumption of the tripartite talks on the Nagas’ demand for the ‘alternative arrangement’ in Manipur.
