Namri Nchang meets stakeholders in Athibung

Athibung, April 30 (MExN): Advisor for Water Resources, Namri Nchang visited SDO(C) Office, Athibung town along with DC & CMO Peren to have an interaction with Medical staff, town councils and various organization on April 30. 

During the meeting, Nchang, who is also the Legislator incharge of Peren District, urged the general public, town councils, GBs of various villages under Ahthibung Sub-division to extend support to the District Administration. He requested Medical team, SDO (C) and town councils to strictly adhere with the quarantine protocols issued by the Government once stranded students and workers are allowed to enter the district. Stating that social distancing is the best weapon to use in the combat against the pandemic, he called upon the gathering to create awareness on how to respond any to COVID-19 incident related. Be mentally prepared for third wave of lockdown and also to be aware once lockdown is relaxed, Nchang added.
