For the first time, a film and actors from Nagaland have been recognised and nominated in four categories in Prag Cine Awards 2021.
“Nana: A Tale of Us” nominated for Best Film Northeast Category, Mengu Suokhrie nominated for Best Actor Female Northeast Category, Zhokhoi Chüzho nominated for Best Actor Male Northeast Category and Tiakumzuk Aier for Best Director Northeast category.
Out of these, “Nana: A Tale of Us” have been awarded the Best Film in Prag Cine Awards 2021 in Northeast category. The Award ceremony was held at Guwahati on January 30.
“Nana: A Tale of Us” is a 2017 Nagamese-language Drama film directed by Tiakümzük Aier and produced by Aoyimti Youth Ministry.
Prag Cine Awards is a prestigious award show in the Northeast India, celebrating the contributions of artists towards the entertainment industry. It started in the year 2003.
