National experts lead workshop for Nagaland drugs control officers

Kohima, May 3 (MExN): The Drugs Control Officers (India) Welfare Association (DCO (I) WA) Nagaland Chapter in collaboration with DCO (I) WA National Office organised one day workshop for the Drugs Control Officers, Drugs Control Administration, Department of Health & Family Welfare at DCA conference hall on April 29. 

An update received here stated that the workshop covered topics such as arrest procedure, legal drafting and prosecution procedures; blood bank inspection and sampling; good laboratory practices & labeling requirement. 

The resource persons were Prof Narender Ahooja (Rt) Drugs Controller of Haryana, Rajender Hama (Rt) Deputy Drugs Controller of Haryana and G Koteshwar Rao National President DCO (I) WA. 

This workshop was organised in fulfillment of the Continuous Education policy of the Drugs Control Officers (India) Welfare Association. 

Further, The Drugs Control Administration office also Imparted two-day intensive training on ‘Online National Drugs Licensing System (ONDLS)’ to the Drugs Control Officers of Drugs Control Administration, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Arunachal Pradesh on April 24 and 25 at DCA conference hall.

The training was imparted by lmlifila, Assistant Drugs Controller (Hq), Ethungbemo Ezung, Assistant Drugs Controller (Hq), SLutovi Phucho Drugs Control Officer (Hq) and T Zubemo Kikon Drugs Control Officer Dimapur. 

This training was conducted on request by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh in order to equipped its Officers towards early on boarding into National portal for Issue of Drugs License.
