Kamaghat, September 18 (MExN): A two day national webinar on the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 will be held at ICFAI University, Tripura on September 19.
The webinar titled ‘Institutional Excellence in Higher Education in North East and National Education Policy,2020’ will be organized in collaboration with the All India Association for Educational Research (AIAER), a press release from the organizers informed.
Tripura’s Minister for Higher Education Ratan Lal Nath will be the chief guest for the inaugural session while the chief patron of the webinar will be ICFAI Chancellor and former Chairman of University Grants Commission Prof Dr V N Rajshekharan Pillai. Prof Biplab Halder, Pro-Vice Chancellor ICFAI, will be patron of the webinar, the release stated.
Speakers for the first session on September 19 include Prof KRS Sambasiva Rao, Vice Chancellor of Mizoram University, Prof Bhagirathi Panda of North East Hill University (NEHU) and Dr Amarendra Pani, Research Head of Association of Indian Universities(AIU), the press release informed.
For the second session, the speakers will be Prof Bhujendra Nath Panda of Regional Institute of Education, Prof A K Mishra of Nagaland University and Dr Sunil Behari Mohanty, the President of AIAER.
During the third session which will be held on September 20, Prof Brinda Bazeley Rymbai from Department of Education, NEHU, Prof Mukut Hazarika from Dibrugarh University and Dr Boa Reena Tok from Rajiv Gandhi University of Arunachal Pradesh will be the speakers.
The webinar will come in to end after completion of third session followed by a valedictory program, the release stated.
