NAYO urges public support for execution of works along NH-2

Kohima, September 10 (MExN): The Northern Angami Youth Organization (NAYO) made a fervent appeal to its affiliated village units and the public to extend their support to the concerned department for effective execution of the road improvement works along National Highway-2.

In a press statement, NAYO President Roko Angami and Press Secretary Neilie Zumu stated that “every citizen looks forward a good road condition but act indifferently.”

NAYO requested the land owners/public to desist from dumping soil on the road side on the stretch of Kohima to Botsa as it invites water logging, obstruct free vehicular movement and hazardous to vehicle accident.

Meanwhile, NAYO appreciated the concerned department especially SDO NH-2 for taking quick response by clearing soil dumped on the road side and expects that they will continue to render good service to the public.
