NBBSS felicitated Bengali speaking meritorious students of HSLC and HSSLC 2023 and gave away prizes to winners of 1st inter-school art competition at Pranab Vidyapith Hr Sec School on July 1.
Dimapur, July 1 (MExN): The Nikhil Bharat Banga Sahitya Sammelan (NBBSS) felicitated the Bengali speaking meritorious students of HSLC and HSSLC 2023 and also gave away the prizes to winners of the 1st inter-school art competition at Pranab Vidyapith Hr Sec School on July 1.
Nikhil Bharat Banga Sahitya Sammelan (NBBSS), Dimapur wing is an all India Bangla literary and cultural organization with its head office in New Delhi, stated a press release here.
Bengali speaking meritorious students securing 90% and above marks in HSLC and HSSLC were felicitated by Dr Sanjay Bhattacharjee Associates Professor Dept of Bangla, Gauhati University and Dr Saikat Raut, Asst Prof (Bengali), Rabindranath Tagore University, Hojai and Bidhan Deb Roy, President, North-Eastern Region, NBBSS.
NBBSS Dimapur, President, Monoj Bhattacharjee distributed the merit certificates to the winners and the participants of the art competition.
In the welcome speech, Monoj Bhattacharjee also advocated that NBBSS initially known as “Probasi Banga Sahitya Sammelan” was born in 1922 and in 1923 during the Varanasi session it was patronized by Rabindranath Tagore.
Meanwhile, the special guest Dr Sanjay Bhattacharjee, Dr Saikat Raut, Bidhan Deb Roy, President, North-Eastern Region, NBBSS addressed the gathering.
