NBCC objects Anti-Conversion Bill

DIMAPUR, MAY 27 (MExN): NBCC strongly objects to the recent anti-conversion bill passed by the Rajasthan Assembly which is contrary to a democratic tradition of a secular way of life, stated a release issued the General Secretary NBCC. It also acknowledged the gradual decline of the Church’s impact on the life of both young people and little children; thereby leading the future generation to hedonism and liberalism. According to the release, this risk factor is leaving the young people, vulnerable to HIV and other vices due to unacceptable behavior.

The NBCC resolved to redefine the church’s mission in becoming relevant and ushering transformation in the life of its members. “These in the long run will safeguard the church from infiltration of wrong teachings and attitudes repulsive to the growth of the Church of Christ”.
