Kohima, August 6 (MExN): The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) and Directorate of School Education (DoSE) in separate notifications on Friday, informed heads of institutions in the State on the upcoming ‘Rashtragaan’ (National Anthem) singing event.
The event is part of the commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of India’s Independence through a series of events under Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav (AKAM).
Heads of institutions (both government and private) registered under NBSE and heads of institutions of all schools functioning within Nagaland have been instructed to inform their students of all ages, parents, teaching and non-teaching staff about the event.
Participants have been requested to visit the website https://rashtragaan.in and upload their self-recorded rendition of the National Anthem on the website.
The last date for participation is August 14 and schools have been requested to encourage their students and staff to actively participate in the event.
