NBSE to undertake exercise for higher secondary institutions

Kohima, August 27 (MExN): Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has issued a notification to the heads of higher secondary institutions on ‘status of online learning.’

With the closure of schools due to the COVID-I9 pandemic, conduct of normal classes has been disrupted to a great extent. Many schools have been tirelessly working along with the teachers to connect with the students in every way possible.

“The Board acknowledges the efforts being made by the schools. However, it is to be noted that at the higher secondary level, schools have to give more attention as the students are at the exit stage to higher education. Earlier, the Board had undertaken an exercise to find out how the schools at the secondary level were connecting with the students during such times,” NBSE Chairman Asano Sekhose stated in the notification issued on August 26.

Similarly, it stated that a questionnaire for the higher secondary schools has been prepared and is enclosed for schools to provide the information. All the registered higher secondary institutions are to mandatorily submit. Schools are requested to use the link https://fonns.gle/Kb7lifb7amPURKeAKX7 and respond to the questions given.

The last date for submission of the questionnaire is September 10. It may further be noted that the information provided by the schools through this questionnaire will help the Board to plan its future course of action, the Chairman stated.

“The heads of registered institutions must ensure that correct information is furnished,” Sekhose asserted.
