NBSE urge schools to participate in G20 activities

Kohima, April 12 (MExN): To enable the engagement of the youth of the country with the Group of Twenty (G20), the Ministry of Education, Department of School Education & Literacy, Government of India had suggested some activities for schools. Students can model the functioning and proceedings of G20 meetings and produce an outcome document at their level; Lifestyle for Environment (LiFE) Quiz; Slogan Writing Competition on G20, stated a DIPR report. 

These two quizzes and the slogan writing competition are available at https://quiz.mygov.in; Exhibition of best practices of technology-enabled activities -Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) exhibition for school students; Science Exhibitions.

Details about Model G20 and how these activities can be conducted by schools are attached as annexures A, B (for classes IX to XII), and C (for classes VI to VIII) for reference.

The most notable papers in this regard will be acknowledged. Some of these papers will also be recognized nationally by the Ministry of Education. 

More activities for students to participate in and contribute to making G20 closer to students and teachers and people as a whole can also be found on the website g20.org.  The Board requests the schools to encourage students to learn and participate in these G20 activities. Schools shall conduct the suggested activities and select the best one from each category i.e. Classes VI to VIII and; Classes IX to XII and email to g20nbse@gmail.com latest by August 2023.
