Kohima, September 23 (MExN): The Nagaland Board of School Education has cautioned all the heads of institutions registered with the NBSE against furnishing false or inflated student enrolment figures. In a notice issued through the state DIPR, the Board informed that it had detected ‘false/inflated students enrolment particularly from Class-A to Class-VII’ during recent inspection of schools. Underscoring that it is a violation of the rules and regulations of managing a school, the NBSE cautioned that any registered school, “if found giving wrong information/figure to the Board shall be viewed seriously and appropriate disciplinary action shall be initiated against the concerned school.”
