NCC annual training camp concludes in Wokha

Kohima, January 19 (MExN): The 138th NCC Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-138) successfully concluded on Saturday at the Assam Rifles Camp in Wokha, Nagaland. The 10-day training event brought together 300 cadets and training staff from various districts across the state.

The camp featured a schedule of physical fitness training, marching drills, weapon training, and live firing exercises. Cadets also participated in individual and team competitions.

Four training companies, named after national heroes of India's freedom struggle, competed in various activities. Highlights included the "Strong Man" and "Strong Woman" contests, where four cadets earned these titles. A tribute to freedom fighters through case studies saw one cadet awarded for the best presentation, while another four were recognized for their sharpshooting skills.

The Bhagat Company emerged as the Champion Company, demonstrating exceptional performance throughout the camp.
The event was part of the mandatory training program for NCC cadets.
