NCC cadets attend lecture on ‘cyber security’

Kohima, December 15 (MExN): A lecture on ‘cyber security’ was delivered by VN Yhome, ASP, PHQ Nagaland Police on day-five of the NCC training at Greenwood School, Dimapur on December 15. A press release received here stated that the ASP highlighted the modus operandi of the cyber frauds & crimes, do’s and don’ts for the internet and mobile users, method of prevention and reporting of a cyber crime etc. He also cautioned the cadets not to succumb to malicious offers via internet.

Brigadier Dipankar Saha, Group Commander, NCC Kohima Group also visited the camp and interacted with the cadets and instructors. Brig Saha visited the training infrastructure like the firing simulator, adhoc shooting range, NCC guard room and the information gallery.  Addressing the campers, Brig Saha appreciated the efforts of all concerned and motivated the cadets to make most of the opportunity and to become better citizen and future leaders.
