NCC cadets visit Military Station Rangapahar

DIMAPUR, JULY 11 (MExN): The NCC cadets undergoing 10-day Combined Annual Training Camp at Pilgrim School, Dimapur visited Military Station Rangapahar as part of educational tour.   Cadets of No. 1 NL Air Squadron (Flying) NCC and 1 Girls Bn NCC visited the 12(I) R&O Flight and 11 TAC, AF at Military Station Rangapahar, 3 Corps.   At 12(I) R&O, the cadets were demonstrated the specification and flying capabilities of Chetak and Cheetah Helicopter by Lt Col BPS Sra, CO of 12(I) R&O Flight and his team. He also interacted with cadets and motivated them to join Armed Forces, informed a press release.   The cadets were shown the rules and duties of TAC (Tactical Air Centre) at 11 TAC, AF by Gp Cdr AK Singh and his team.   The cadets, who were accompanied by Squadron Leader C Kishor, CO of No.1 NL Air Squadron (Flying) NCC, were shown the military lifestyle and encouraged to join Armed Forces.   The 10-day training camp of the No. 1 NL Air Squadron (Flying) NCC, Dimapur commenced on July 4 under the guidance of NCC Group Headquarter, Kohima. NCC cadets from various institutions are taking part in the camp.
