DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 3 (MExN): Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) has appealed the Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur and Administrator, Dimapur Municipal Council, for immediate action and implementation of the directives by Zhaleo Rio, Advisor for Urban Development and Municipal Affairs in taking up the needed development in Dimapur town.
According to a press release issued by NCD, the directives pertains to removing of temporary, illegal and unauthorized structures of shops/vendors in Dimapur city, particularly below Railway fly-over bridge and develop the place for systematized vehicle parking lots.
To remove all illegal and temporarily constructed structures along Hongkong Market area and construct standard footpaths for convenient movement of commuters and to construct a well-engineered drainage system in Dimapur city and have clog free water flow during raining season.
