Dimapur, May 26 (MExN): The Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) office bearers and the newly installed Naga Women Hoho Dimapur (NWHD) held an informal and introductory meeting on May 24 at the NCD Office Dimapur.
This was informed by Etsungmomo Kikon, President, NCD, who also congratulated the new office bearers of the NWHD and assured them the support and assistance of NCD within its limited resources. The two apex civil society organizations in Dimapur district also discussed for mutual understanding and to work hand in hand for the wellbeing and safeguarding the interest of the public at large of the district, he said.
He further added that members from NCD also shared various activities of the coucil and encouraged the NWHD that the participation of the woman/mothers in all round activities has become imperative.
It was also learnt that the new President of the NWHD Duoneinuo Kire, expressed gratitude to the NCD for organizing the meeting to get familiarizes each others for better co-operation and strengthening each other.
