Hyderabad, August 24 (MExN): Naga Christian Fellowship (NCF) Hyderabad celebrated its silver jubilee on August 19 under the theme ‘Covenanted to Engage’ (based on Leviticus 2:13 and Mathew 5:13).
LT Jeyachandran, Vice President, UESI was the speaker for the occasion, while Rev. Andrew Semp, Secretary, Nagaland Missions Movement launched the souvenir magazine. Rev. Dr. LL Kikon, one of the founding members and the first Chairman of NCF Hyderabad, graced the occasion with his presence and exhortation.
NCF pastors and representatives from 13 cities across the country were also present.
According to a press release, Zajamo Odyuo, Pastor, NCF Hyderabad speaking about the occasion said, “God is indeed faithful to keep and sustain the work He begins and it is humbling to even consider that God would have us - our little congregation and our little story, as a part of His glorious Kingdom project and His Big story in the grand scheme of things.”
What started as a small home gathering of a handful of Nagas in 1993 has today grown into a regular fellowship with over 300 members in the city and many more alumni across the county, it was stated.
