
Kohima, January 28: A culmination service of the 40 days fasting by 40 prayer warriors of the Nagaland Christian Revival Church (NCRC) took place here today at the NCRC, PR Hill.
According to NCRC, the spirit of the Lord has revealed His servants on several occasions in the NCRC, PR Hill, Kohima (Nagaland Prayer Centre) that severe destruction to Naga and its land is imminent in the form of war, bloodshed, pestilence, earthquake etc.
40 prayer warriors from various prayer centres, prayer groups and some Reverends are called to fast and pray for the Naga for 40 days with effect from December 20, 2013. During 40 days fasting, 40 prayer warriors had their programmes in their respective places and the last days together in NCRC, PR Hill, Kohima (Nagaland Prayer centre), which culminated today. Rev. Shiwoto Sumi, ex-president NCRC said that 40 people fasting for 40 days for the people bear a great meaning and expressed happiness with them. Highlighting the importance of prayer, he said Bible tell the people to pray without ceasing and pray anytime and anywhere.
Pastor Yangulie Sanchu, NCRC, PR Hill Kohima also spoke on the occasion.
Earlier, the culmination service was chaired by Hovikrol Neikha, assistant pastor while Rev. Thekruzhü Khanna, pastor NCRC Gariphema pronounced invocation prayer and scripture reading led by Pr. Neitoulhou, Zhadima.
