The Best Traffic Award winners with NCSU officials, SP Kohima and others during the advent Christmas cum felicitation of Best Traffic Award 2023 event held at Hotel Japfu, Kohima.

The Nagaland Contractors’ and Suppliers’ Union (NCSU), Head Office Kohima today celebrated advent Christmas cum felicitation of Best Traffic Award 2023 at Hotel Japfu Kohima.
During the programme, the Best Traffic Award 2023 among female was awarded to Benthunglo Tungoe, WPC North Traffic Control, Kohima. W Nahfo Konyak, T/C South Traffic Control, Kohima got the best traffic award in male category.
NCSU President Pele Khezhie while handing over the awards said it was a simple gesture to appreciate the hard work of the traffic personnel in managing the heavy vehicular traffic in the capital city.
Kohima SP Bharat Laxman Markad lauded NCSU for recognising the works of the traffic personnel, which is hardly done by the general public. He hoped that the contractors and suppliers would continue to deliver quality service despite them also not being recognized for the works done.
Immanuel Baptist Church, Pastor Zakiebeituo Metha shared the Christmas message from the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 1 saying that everyone must have celebrated Christmas several times but this time they should have the birth of Jesus Christ in their heart.
Imsünok Jamir, Secretary NCSU chaired the programme. T Yanger Imchen, Advisor NCSU pronounced invocation while welcome address was delivered by Hoshito Assumim, Vice President NCSU. Vote of thanks was proposed by by Tali Sangtam, secretary NCSU and benediction by Convenor RTI Cell, Kedou Wetsah.
