NCSU to stage 3rd phase agitation from Sept 18

The Nagaland Contractors’ & Suppliers’ Union (NCSU) Head Office Kohima today resolved to stage 3rd phase agitation following the “total failure” of the state government to fulfill its demand. The 3rd phase of indefinite agitation will start from September 18 onwards. This was resolved at its general meeting held here today at NCSU conference hall.

The Union also resolved that all NCSU registered members should compulsorily participate in the 3rd phase of agitation. The Union said that those who fail to turn up at the agitation they shall be penalized in the form of cancellation of his/her registration from the Union.

It resolved that all District unit NCSU officials to mobilize registered members of their concern unit and report to the NCSU Head Office Kohima on date 17th September 2012 during office hour for further necessary information/direction. 

The Union Head Office appealed to all its registered members those who have JCB, Tipper and Truck to keep ready for the upcoming 3rd phase of agitation. 

A copy of the resolution issued by its president Pele Khezhie and general secretary John Kath said that the House also resolved to appeal to all civil societies and general public to extend their support and full co-operation with the Union grievances.
