Kohima, May 9 (MExN): The Nagaland Contractor’s & Supplier’s Union (NCSU) Tseminyu District Unit Office was formally inaugurated today by Pele Khezhie, President NCSU Head Office Kohima.
Speaking on the occasion, Khezhie encouraged the members to fight against table tenders which is violating government’s standing order.
All contracts & supplies works should be open tender in order to maintain transparency and accountability, he said.
He also assured to fight for all round development in all the newly upgraded District including Tseminyu District and find out ways to help local qualified contractors.
He also talked about the preparation of 50 years celebration of Union Golden Jubilee which will be held during last part of this year.
Also speaking on the occasion, Rengma Hoho President, Tesinlo Semy encouraged the members to be stead fast for upliftment of Tseminyu town.
The programme was chaired by Aba Khing General Secretary NCSU Tseminyu District Unit while welcome address was delivered by M.S. Khing. Vote of thanks was pronounced by Hyunsi Thyüg.
