A four day long sports meet 2022 of 9th Kohima Town Assembly Constituency of Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) got underway at D Khel Ground, Seikhazou, Kohima village on February 22.
Gracing the inaugural function, Dr Neikiesalie (Nicky) Kire, Advisor, Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, Nagaland, encouraged the sports lovers to make the best use of their talents. He told them to take up sports with seriousness. He called upon the participants to display fair play throughout the five day long meet. The meet will be marked by football and volleyball and it will continue till February 25.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Hukato Chishi, legal advisor to Dr. Nicky while welcome address was delivered by NDPP 9th Kohima Town A/C president Krodi Kennao.
