The grand finale of the four day long sports meet 2022 of 9th Kohima Town Assembly Constituency of Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) will take place on February 25 at D. Khel Ground, Seikhazou, Kohima village.
In women’s volleyball played today, Ward 6 (D. Block) defeated Ward 19 (Jail/PR Hill) in the first semi finals. Ward 16 (New Reserve) overpowered Ward 4 (Nagabazaar) in the second semi finals. With this, Ward 6 (D. Block) will now face Ward 16 (New Reserve) in the finals on February 25 at 1:30 PM.
In men’s football, Ward 14 (Poterlane) defeated Ward 4 (Nagabazaar) 2- 1. Ward 12 (Upper Chandmari) downed Ward 16 C (Lerie) while Ward 17 B (Electrical/Agri farm/Mewi Bogei/Forest) registered win over Ward 14 B (Old Minister Hill). Ward 16 A (Lerie Chazou/NNH) defeated Ward 19 B (Jail/ PR Hill).
The closing ceremony has been scheduled on February 25 at 3:30 PM.
