DIMAPUR, JUNE 4 (MExN): The NDPP Pughoboto region convened a general meeting with all the office bearers of various organisations under NDPP Pughoboto region on May 27 at the Regional Office, Pughoboto.
The meeting unanimously resolved to remain resolute with the party and co-operate with the newly formed government to work for the over-all development of the State.
The NDPP Pughoboto region also congratulated the pre-poll alliance of NDPP-BJP in Nagaland for returning with a thumping majority to form the government once again.
It meanwhile expressed confidence that under the leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, the current dispensation will successfully tackle the major issues facing Naga society today, including the vexed Indo-Naga Political Issue.
The region further expressed gratitude to all the voters, who voted for the NDPP candidate, Y Vikheho Swu, and assured that the party will continue to work for the welfare of the region.
Further, the region said it is confident that with the support of the Central leadership, “we will be able to overcome failures and scale new heights of success in the near future.”
