NDPP youth reaching out to needy persons

Kohima, May 3 (MExN): All ranks and file of Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) Central Youth Organisation including its Regions, A/Cs and Unit Youth Organisation have been continuously reaching out to affected and needy persons.
While the Regional NDPP Youth Organisations has been distributing an array of food grains, vegetables and dry rations cutting across various Districts, some region offices has gone the extra mile in extending relief materials and solidarity to the needy, according to a release issued by Media & Publicity Cell, NDPP Central Youth Organization.
In Mon District, NDPP Youth Org, Mon Region visited Longwa- international boundary and contributed relief materials to 25 students and 5 teaching staffs of Shalom School who were stranded due to the lockdown. A missionary who was working beyond the border was also assisted.
In Mokokchung District, NDPP Youth Org, Mokokchung Region will be manufacturing and providing Face masks, the face masks are being personally sewed by the Youth Org members since there Is acute shortage due to the lockdown.
In Kohima and Dimapur District led by NDPP Central Youth president Kelhouneizo Yhome, the members of NDPP Central Youth Organisation reached out to various colonies and wards continually assisting and contributing in their individual capacity to the stranded and needy.
Meanwhile, in Zunheboto district, food packs were distributed among frontline workers including police personnel and the medical fraternity under the initiative of Advisor for School Education KT Sukhalu.
The Advisor also sent out a message to the frontline workers, acknowledging their service to the public during this lockdown period. He further encouraged them to stay strong and vigilant until the coast is clear.
