‘Holistic and quality care’

According to the release, the Centre will operated by a competent team of medical doctors, nurses, and care givers.

The key features of the project include provision of quality care by a combination of medical and non-medical staff, thereby reducing the need for purely medical carers and keeping the morale of patients up through counselling, interaction and not socially isolating them, it said.

Pastors and Christian leaders will be available for counselling and prayer and the Centre will enable access to holistic and quality care by an able team of care givers to all with free treatment to poor population keeping equity considerations in mind, it added.

This would not only provide great relief to patients and their families but also assist in reclogging the already overburdened secondary and Tertiary care facilities, the release maintained.

It was further informed that facility is meant for COVID-19 patients with dropping oxygen saturation (<95%) and they can be treated at the Centre until a bed is found for them by the relatives in any hospital.  It is neither a full-fledged hospital nor offers ICU facilities or administers anti-viral drugs.

The Centre is located at Rockland Hotel, Outer Ring Road, Block B Chittaranjan Park, New Delhi.
