NEFL: Wins for Assam Titans and Apunba Manipur

Guwahati, August 28 (MExN): Assam Titans and Apunba Manipur won their respective matches in the ongoing North East Futsal League (NEFL) held in Guwahati on August 28. 

Today’s first match saw Assam Titans win 1-0 against the Meghalaya Thunders. Aklanta Basumatary scored the lone goal of the match. In the second match, Apunba Manipur beat Nagaland 3-1. The scorers for Manipur were Md Yasir and Md Shah Jahan. Patricia was the lone scorer for Nagaland. 

Earlier on August 27, Nagaland played out a 3-3 draw against Arunachal. Mizo falcons also won their match against Meghalaya Thunders by a handsome margin of five goals.
