Students participate in the NEISSR anthem competition.

Chümoukedima, September 5 (MExN): North East Institute of Social Sciences and Research (NEISSR), Chümoukedima conducted NEISSR anthem competition. The programme was organized by the Students Council for Social Change. Music Club won the competition followed by Cultural Club and Art and Literary Club.
Pezangulie Suokhrie in the keynote address emphasized the power of music in everyone’s life. Peace can be promoted in and around us by means of music. He added that the power of music lies in its ability to change and make people feel certain to connect and bring us together.
Dr Fr CP Anto, Principal, NEISSR encouraged the students by citing numerous talented individuals in the world of music. He specified Nagaland as a State with beautiful voices across the hills and rivers. He strongly emphasized the need to promote folk song among young students.
Kossam Konyak chaired the programme and Rovikhono Pucho invoked God’s blessings. The programme ended with a note of thanks from Daiguang. Tsulula K proposed the vote of thanks.
