Dimapur, September 16 (MExN): The Training and Placement Department of NERIM Group of Institutions conducted training programs for its students on September 15.
Placement drive was held for its MSW 2023 Pass out students by GNRC Hospital. Training program for the students of MBA, MCA and M Com final year students was held with the aim to equip them with skills necessary to be industry ready. Ashutosh Sharma was the expert for the session. A series of industrial plant visit was initiated and conducted in various plants under Assam Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (AIIDC).
A press release received here stated that the Training and Placement Department of NERIM emphasizes to work on the overall development of student's community. In the past, the Department has conducted many events such as HR Conclave, Alumni Meet, Industry Interface Programs, etc.
Headed by Sagar Saikia, Head of Placements, NERIM along with his team member, Suman Agarwal, Placement Officer, the department emphasis firstly to understand what are the market needs and secondly to help the students understand their strengths and align it with their career goals.
“The Placement Department of NERIM is doing work of quality and over the past 3 years it has been able to place their students in some of the reputed organizations of the country,” it stated.
